As a coach, I believe in a holistic approach to support clients to achieve their goals, that takes into account their personal values, passions, and strengths. I work with my clients to identify their unique career goal and develop a plan that aligns with their values and interests.
With 7+ years of experience in transformational coaching, I have helped many clients successfully navigate their career transitions and improve their confidence and self belief. My clients come from a variety of backgrounds, and I am proud to have helped them achieve their goals.

I have extensive experience of NHS locally and Nationally. I have a background in nursing both RGN and RMN having worked in various
nursing and managerial roles including Mental Health, ITU supporting patients, relatives and leading teams in often difficult and challenging
conditions.

My academic background includes a BSC and MSC, in Management and Business Excellence. I have extensive OD experience, have provided leadership consultancy at National and Local Board level, with excellent
knowledge and track record in Lean and Continuous Improvement.
My last role was Head of Organisational Development, Learning and Education, a portfolio which was system wide including Leadership and Management Development locally, Regionally and Nationally. Leadership of System Wide Culture Change, Coaching, Team Development, Employability, Mediation, Staff Experience and supporting leaders navigate complexity across systems.
I have extensive experience of Lean methodology and supported NHS to redesign services, reduce process variation and enhance quality and effectiveness for patient services.
I am a trained accredited experienced Coach and Coach Supervisor and member of the International Coaching Federation.
I have provided coaching across the NHS and Nationally for staff at all levels including CEO,
Directors, Senior Managers and frontline staff. I provide i:1 and group supervision both face to face and via teams or zoom.
I am a trained MBTI and 360 practitioner and provide 360 coaching.
As an accredited mediator, I work with both individual and groups in mediation.
My career choice in both nursing and OD consultancy is immersed in working and supporting people and very much aligned to enabling leaders at all levels to enhance personal effectiveness. I use constructive challenge with my clients, asking the hard questions to surface innovative and lateral thinking to achieve potential.
My values of openness, honesty, respect and integrity are embedded in my being and influence my actions in both personal and professional life.

My purpose in coaching is to support clients to be the conductor of their own orchestra, unleash potential, unlock perceived obstacles to achieve personal effectiveness, to navigate a path, to achieve their goals. Contracting with my clients is ethical and transparent. I have extensive experience of Psychodynamic perspective and Transactional Analysis and use this in my coaching practice. I have enhanced self-awareness and believe in the power of this approach and the subsequent transformation possible to support clients to achieve their goals, making the unconscious conscious.
I flex my approach and use many other models and approaches in coaching including diagnostics psychometrics tailored to my client’s needs.
I have had significant success in supporting leaders navigate unhelpful behaviours, complexity and develop strategies to overcome wicked issues, where there seems no single solution.
Additional influences include use of Systems theory and the unconscious at work.

Team support
Provision of consultancy to enhance team ways of working, communication and service development.
I have supported senior teams within NHS with the Aston Journey to support team function, enhance team objectives, role clarity, communication, relationships and constructive debate.
Leadership Development:
Development and Delivery of the leadership Programmes within NHS Boards and Nationally. At National level, I successfully delivered contracts on target and within budget, for example, £0.5 million to facilitate the implementation of Clinical Leadership to senior Healthcare professionals across NHS Boards in Scotland.
Development and Delivery of Bespoke Leadership and Management programmes to meet the changing needs of senior healthcare professionals across NHSS.
I have delivered Leading for the Future, National Leadership Programme for Senior Leaders across Health and Social Care, in addition local delivery at Board level.
Talent Management and Succession Planning: Extensive experience in supporting leaders in the measurement/management of performance and succession planning.
Culture Change
Extensive experience of the Compassionate Leadership and Culture Change Programme models, approach, methodology and implementation endorsed by Professor Michael West which was implemented across NHS England.
Service Redesign and Lean Methodology
I have extensive experience in continuous improvement and have supported many projects to redesign services within NHS using lean methodology. I strongly believe in the importance of understanding and improving healthcare processes to achieve sustainable process improvements within the organisation, improving the quality of service for patients and staff.
My approach has incorporated engaging staff at all levels within the service to identify existing strengths, to improve service delivery and clinical performance with the development of strategies to monitor practices, evaluate outcomes, facilitate professional development and evidence-based practice. I believe a key underpinning factor to success is understanding the interlinking determinants of both service and clinical quality. In addition, a clear focus on services, systems, processes and people.
