When I did my PhD 20 years ago, I used the quantitive methods of medical science. While I was doing this research, I had a feeling that my investigations were missing out a huge chunk of ‘reality’.
Because of this feeling, I started to explore the practice of research more widely. In 2008 I completed a MSc in Psychological Research Methods, which included history of science, quantitative methods, statistical analysis, ethnography, discourse analysis and heuristic research.
In recent years, I’ve used qualitative methodologies in all my research and that is my main focus now. I have a particular interest in transpersonal methodologies and heuristic research.
